The Purana Project is an ever evolving multimythological project that aims to help a broad spectrum of audience ranging from enthusiasts to academics.
Here at The Purana Project, we are making mythological compendiums that specialize in genealogies, legends and the understanding of the owlrd according to the surviving source materials of the mythologies. These compendiums are in no matter critical editions or translations of the surviving sources but a compilation with structure and analysis.
The Purana Project aims at bringing together the information scattered throughout the surviving sources into an easily readable, accessible and constantly updated repository along with perspectives and variations.

The Purana Project is the brainchild of Rohit Phalke.
Rohit is an actor, writer and an Economics and Humanities Facilitator.
He has a Master's Degree in Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Comparative Mythology.
He has been researching and re-researching myths around the globe since 2013.
